This function specifies the customer's
master file data and the way he can use the workstation to
navigate.
The window is divided into 4 pages:

Registration Data
The
customer's registration data must be entered on this page. It is
also possible to gather other data about his residence and
possibly contact information (e-mail and telephone).
In the preceding example, we gathered data for customer Massimo
Rossi, who chose the username "mario700" and the password
"moto24". At this point, Mr. Rossi can go to the navigation
workstation and enter his username and password in the (Explorer
Client navigation program).
Document
This section allows gathering all the information on an identity
document: type, number, date and issuing agency. The two sides
of the document can be scanned in the pages "Front Image" and
"Back Image".
Authentication
This section is used to specify if the customer must login
with a username or password or if he can use a Smart Card. In
the first case, it is necessary to set the Username and Password
fields while, in the second, just click "Create Smart Card" to
create the user's personal Smart Card. A card created in this
way contains only the data needed for system authentication
while other data, such as the prepaid credit, is stored in the
server's archives.
Navigation
This page has options that control how the workstation is
used:
-
Prepaid Mode:
this specifies whether the user is using prepaid credit or
will be settling the account when he is done navigating.
-
Rate Plan:

applied to the customer.
-

specifies the user group
the user belongs to. The user's ability to perform certain
operations, or execute certain programs, is based on this
group.
-

pricing plan to apply to customers who connect by wireless.
-
Enable Wi-Fi
Access : allows or denies access by the user to a
wireless connection.
-

access at the end of connections which are not pre-paid
: by enabling this option, for post-paid sessions, the
user’s Wi-Fi access is disabled at the end of the session.
This option is useful if an occasional user wishes to
navigate Wi-Fi using a connection which is not pre-paid.
-

allows you to specify the language used by the Explorer
Client navigation programme.
