Softvision Explorer 4 is a complete software package for managing Internet Points, Hotspots and Call Shop. The software consists of the following modules:
 

Explorer Server: this module, executed as a Windows service, is necessary for managing the entire system. The computer on which this module is installed (server) must always be running for the system to function.

Explorer Manager:  this is the system-management program. It is used to add new users, make recharges, set rates, etc. This module is generally installed on the same computer that runs the server but it can also be installed on any other computer on the network.

Explorer Client: this module, which is available for both Windows and Linux systems, is necessary if you are using the program for managing an Internet Café and it must be installed on all the surfing stations of the café. These stations can only be used for surfing and to run several programs defined by the administrator. Any operation (running programs, surfing to unauthorised sites, etc.) will be prevented while Explorer Client is running (and it can only be closed by the administrator with a password).

Explorer Printer Monitor: this detects printouts made by users and is only to be installed on computers with USB printers if they are not already running Explorer Server or Explorer Client.

Explorer Coins: this is used to create a recharge station through an electronic coin counter.

Keep in mind that, for use as a Hotspot or Call Shop it is only necessary to install the Server and Manager modules.
