The database used by the program needs to be compacted every so often to considerably reduce the disk space it occupies. This function can also be used in an attempt to repair damaged archives.

Compacting and restoring of archives can also be performed from the command line using the -R option.

To conduct this operation, just open the command prompt, go to the folder where Softvision Explorer is installed and launch the command : ExplorerManager -R
