Archives from Version 3
By using this function,
users of Softvision Explorer version 3 can import old archives in the
new version to ensure the new program is installed easily and with loosing
any data. Before proceeding with the update, you must ensure Softvision
Explorer version 3 is updated at least to version 3.40, to backup data
using that version and avoid any inconveniences that can arise during
importing.
Having just selected the function from the Archives menu, the program requires you to select the folder containing the version 2 archives, which are normally positioned in "C:\Program Files\Softvision\Softvision Explorer\Data", after which the acquisition of old data is executed. This operation may last some minutes, depending on the amount of data to import. After importing, Software Explorer 4 will contain all the customer's data from the old archive, together with their navigation sessions. |
